The YDA20 Diabetes Conference will feature sessions discussing the transition to adulthood - moving from parent-led care to self-management, and how to remain positive whilst managing the everyday stresses of having a child live with diabetes. Get active whilst raising awareness of diabetes this Blue November. Step 1: Wear something blue. Step 2: Choose the challenge level: Easy: get creative and make a circle pose, e.g. yoga pose, exercise with hula hoop. YDA is excited to be holding a True Blue Street Party at Lee Tung Avenue on 29-30 Oct. There will be 20 giant LED lights to symbolise the 20th anniversary of Youth Diabetes Action and 100 blue lights to celebrate 100 years since the discovery of insulin.
